Marine Animals
I create detailed black and white drawings of marine animals using thousands of individual dots. Each mark requires complete focus, which quiets my mind in our constantly connected world. The process feels similar to floating in Cornish waters—peaceful and present. The repetitive dot work becomes a meditation, and time disappears while I'm creating.
Since I was a kid I have been fascinated by sea creatures like turtles, whales, and other marine life. The black and white is a comment to the stark struggle these amazing creatures currently face as their habitats are eroded.

Cornish Landmarks
These illustrations place Cornish landmarks inside decorated teacups. The idea came from exploring Cornwall and stopping for tea and cake afterward. That cup of tea after a long walk or cycle became a symbol of comfort and reflection.

Vibrant Landscapes
My landscape paintings are looser and more experimental. They come from cycling quiet lanes and walking coastal paths around Cornwall, where beautiful views appear unexpectedly. Painting lets me revisit these places and extend those journeys in my memory.
These paintings show my struggle between tight control and letting go. I'm still finding the balance between detail and freedom, and that search has become important to me.
